Powder Booths

 

Intec-APC has a variety of quality powder reclaim systems to meet almost any requirement.  Booths are constructed according to customer specs and needs. With over 30 years of experience in powder coating backed with our  technical know-how and expertise, we can get the job done.

The basic premise of a powder booth is to safely reclaim whatever powder does not go on the part.  Collected powder can be taken away as waste or possibly reused.

Powder booths come in many shapes and sizes.  Fortunately, we have built almost every shape or size known in the industry.  From mini booths of less than 2 cubic feet all the way to giant truck-in booths of 2000 cubic ft.  If you have a custom requirement, we have you covered.

Collector:

The collector is driven by a blower motor that creates negative air pressure resulting in a vacuum inside each booth.  Over-sprayed Powder is drawn against the cartridge filters and clean air then passes through the outlet back to atmosphere.  An effectively working booth should have no powder anywhere but inside the spray area.  Our blowers are surrounded by an sound insulated box which has a very low decibel output that exceeds OSHA standards.
Additionally, cyclone collectors, while not practical for most powder collection, can be specially designed to meet certain specialty needs.

Reclaim:

The simplicity of our powder collection system allows reclaim styles and methods to be developed for each of our customer's specific needs.  Multiple powder modules can be used along with an individual collector for speeding up color changes.  We have the capabilities to engineer some of the most sophisticated powder modules in the industry.

Conversion Booths:

Many of our customers have been able to successfully convert to powder from paint.  Our expertise has been applied on various projects involving conversions.  We can find a solution.
