Static-Check STC3 can save you time and money
Why do you need one for your coating
line?
Electrostatic -
On Electrostatic powder guns the actual high voltage output can
differ from the voltage reading that appears on the control unit. Most
units have a circuit inside that measures the high voltage. Because of
problems with both the cable and/or the gun readings from the
circuit can actually be far different from the actual output. For
example when your gun becomes coated with even a thin film of powder
this can cause the high voltage current to dissipate towards the
ground connection.
On electrostatic units the actual gun output is
crucial to coating efficiency. Our Static-Check STC3 is a tool that
you can immediately use to monitor your actual voltage output and take
control of your powder coating operation.
Tribo -
On Airstatic or "Tribo" guns the powder develops an
electric charge during its passage through the spray barrel. The
Static-Check STC3 measures the actual charge of the powder in uA which
allows you to determine if the powder is suitable for "Tribo"
charging.
Correct Ground Contact -
The Static-Check STC3 can be used additionally to check the
ground resistance of parts before they go into the spray booth. If
parts are not grounded correctly the powder will simply not stick to
them whether it is sprayed with an ES or a Tribo gun.
Wouldn't you
like to have a scientific device that helps you determine exactly why
your powder system isn't working properly?
The Static-Check STC3 Will Optimize Your
Powder Application System By -
+ Helping you control how much powder goes on each part;
+ Limiting overspray and wasted powder;
+ Testing to determine whether you have a powder
problem or a gun problem;
+ Analyzing proper grounding for each part being coated
